Anna Maria Hedman
Contemporary sculpture and long-form artistic practice
Alongside my sculptural work, my practice includes research-based writing and long-form reflection.
Many projects emerge from lived encounters and unresolved moments — situations that resist closure and instead call for forms of holding, ritual and care.
My research often takes an ethnological perspective, observing how belief, trauma and vulnerability surface in everyday situations, and how sculptural or ceremonial gestures can offer temporary structures for healing and attention.
